Keep it Looking Good 

Tie in strong shoots to fill gaps, cut other young shoots to 4 leaves for next year's display

Buds forming now on Camellia, Rhododendron and Azaleas now need water for best Spring display

Pruning when growth slows lets light in for riper fruit and encourages fruit buds to form for next year

Encourage more fruit next year on new wood by pruning all stems to five leaves from base

Cut top of main stem to two leaves above formed fruit & remove any leaves shading fruit

Hydrangeas need a lot of water and can wilt when hot in July and August. 

Dahlias are growing rapidly now. Stake before there are too many flowers & remember to deadhead.

Plants in pots rely on you for food & water more than you think. Tomato food weekly ideal for flowers.

Essential to stop plants becoming woody. Cut off flower stems & 6-10cm of foliage then water.
